1. General Information

• I tested this software with SYNCHRON ALX CX9 only. But I think it works with any SYNCHRON CX Series, because CX3, CX4, CX5, CX7, CX4CE, CX5CE, or CX7 system uses same interface protocol.

• I tested this software for download mode with CX9 at our hospital(Yeungnam University Medical Center), but not query mode. if you have some problems in query mode, please let me know.

• Including "Host's Test ID", "Instrument's Test ID", "Communication Parameter" , etc are our hospital parameters, you need some modification for your lab.

• If Including raw data in YnCx060.zip is not compatible to your lab, you can receive raw data(YnCXConfig/Protocol/Receive Raw Data) from your instruments and make parsing protocol suitable to your lab.

• You must Install BDE (HERE or www.borland.com)  and ODBC Drivers before Installing "Yeungnam Interfacer For CX Series".

• This version supports "Text File" and "Oracle 8" in host communication.

• System Requirements

1. Windows 95 or Windows 98
2. At least Pentium 200 MHz is recommended.
3. At least 16Mb of RAM is recommended.
4. BDE(borland Database Engine)
5. ODBC Drivers
6. 1024 x 768 resolution

    3-1. Host communication parameters setting

Menu: SPECIAL FUNCTION[ F4 ]  in MASTER SCREEN  \  SYSTEM SETUP[ 4 ]  \  HOST COMMUNICATION PARAMETERS[ 10 ]

 4. Yeungnam Interfacer Configuration

• 4.1. Download YnCX06xx.zip, extract zip file and install, See "readme.txt"

  4.2. Execute Yeungnam CX Configure.

  4.3. Other Configure Setting.

  4.4. Exit Yeungnam CX Configure.

  4.5. Execute Yeungnam CX.

• This software requires BDE and ODBC 3.xx., you must install BDE and ODBC 3.xx before running Yeungnam Interfacer.
